Christina is currently a student in university who is doing a major in sociology and a double minor in English Literature and writing studies, and completing a certificate in professional communication. Christina has experience writing for many online and print magazines, and she has experience being published with creative writing pieces as well. She will be graduating in April 2018 and continuing her studies in a Masters of Media in Journalism and Communications in September 2018.

Currently, Christina works as the Editor-in-Chief for an online lifestyle magazine called UnwrittenWith Unwritten, Christina has gained experience growing the brand's readership and recruiting writers. In the past four months of her working as Editor-In-Chief, she has grown the website's team of writers significantly. Christina oversees that the content being published on Unwritten meet's the company's standards of quality of work, and she has worked closely with the Managing Editor to re-create the website, correlate a new mission statement, and set new goals for Unwritten (expanding the number of published weekly articles from 21 to 40).

Christina maintains communication with all writers by sharing a weekly updated running list of topics so that all writers feel inspired and motivated to write pieces. Christina also works closely with the writers and editors to give them positive feedback and provide tips on how articles can improve. 

 

Christina has been published on the Huffington Post several times. A few examples of her articles include “7 Reasons to Thank your Overbearing Parents,” “The Reality of Dating your Highschool Sweetheart,” and “How a Little bit of Hope can go a Long Way.

As of March 2018, Christina became a freelance writer for Diply Media Company. Focusing on listicles, a few of Christina's articles include "16 Pics That Prove Glitter Is A Gift For Foodies" and "16 Lunch-Packing Hacks That'll Save You Time And Give You Peace Of Mind." 

 

Christina was published in a 2016 anthology of Canadian poets titled Overture, a 2017 anthology of Canadian poets titled Let’s Fly Away, and a 2017 collection of short stories titled The Stand. Christina also writes stories on an online app called “Episode Interactive” where she is known for her story “Girl in the Gang” which has over 80 000 reads.

Christina volunteers for the local newspaper in her hometown: The Independent Newspaper. Here, Christina writes on various subjects for this print and online newspaper. Also, Christina also currently works at an internship for The Catholic Register in Toronto where she is considered a youth reporter, covering news and writing articles on various subjects. Therefore, with Unwritten, Diply, the Regis, and many other companies, she has a lot of experience writing for both online and print formats.

Aside from writing, Christina has worked as a program coordinator for the local Library in her hometown for four consecutive summers. With this position, she has gained experience with creating advertisements for the Library’s social media pages, and printing various promotional materials such as programs, brochures, posters, and other types of ads. Also, with this position, she has created presentations where she has had to present her program ideas to various board officials, schools, and businesses in her hometown.

​

Finally, Christina is currently holding the position as Chief Financial Officer and Communications Specialist for King’s Players Theatre company where she keeps track of all budget expenses and finances, and also works on their social media pages to promote programs, shows, and KP meetings.

​

Christina thoroughly enjoys writing articles and creative writing. She finds a true release in sitting down with a journal and pen and writing down her every thought and desire. She is a very passionate writer who is investing time in what she loves to do the most, and hopes that she will make a successful career out of her passion for the art of writing where she can please the public eye with her many articles and stories.
